demolish Daimon collect all the loot, the chest room usually has lv. I sometimes get #21 just for chance at rancid bait meats. 3 wep, up to 2 lv.3 armors, up to 3 lv.3 novelty, and rift crystals. run through Fallen city++Collect chest #2, 20, 19, 13, 8, and 10 in that order (which I do in the video). run through Sparyard of Scant Mercy++Collect chests #5 and #6 (both will either have lv.3 gear, lv.3 novelty, or rift polycrystals) run through Bloodless stockade++ Collect chest #15 (lv 3 gear, novelty or crystals) run through forgotten hall ++Collect the chests #15 and #16 will always give you lv.3 gear and possibly lv.3 novelty (other relevant loot: Rancid Bait Meat, Rift Bicrystal) run through rotwood depository (careful at the turn towards the door, i got my ass whooped in the first run b/c somehow they can already detect me when i'm in the hallway - a rare occurence, depending on the attack he uses and when he sees you) around 150 or more blast arrows - I have 2078 str with my bow and use 4 conqueror's which is enough for form 1+2 of Daimon (w/e method you like, i just blew up daimon with blastarrows b/c i've already beaten the game on xbox with pure warrior so i'm just min/maxing on the pc) access to fournival for conqueror's periapt (only to make it faster, use less arrows, or to make it possible due to low str/non-optimal gear) ranged class + mules for blast arrows (pref for faster farming, possible with w/e class but i plan to switch to warrior after getting to 200 as an assassin)

Bloodless stockade – chest #15 (lv 3 gear, novelty or crystals) forgotten hall - chests #15 and #16 (lv 3gear, novelty or crystals) ~get class with access to bow and spam blastarrows on Daimon (use conqueror’s periapts to reduce amount of arrows needed), I need about 150 with 2000 str ~Completed form 1+2 daimon (post-daimon status) omit novelty/gear if you have enough to save time) I mean, RE is pretty much dead in the water.Note: please check wiki for the maps with chest locations, or just somehow memorize the chests I run in the video (use wiki to alter path if desired, e.g. Overall I really enjoyed Dark Arisen, and hope Capcom makes it into a proper franchise. Hopefully that last section will be addressed by Dragon's Dogma 2. I've only glitch killed him once in the damn ocean. the post-game wyvern between Gran Soren and Windbluff Tower still doesn't land. In all the time I played, well over 100 hours, I've only killed 2 in one play through. Pawns still repeat dialogue all the freakin time. Beloved system still hard to control (some people want the option of pawn love, I'm ambivalent about that). I am more than tired of opening my inventory to unequip, wait, and then re-open inventory to equip my lantern in the midst of a battle with an Eliminator (small but powerful minotaur) There should be a simple button command to get the damn thing lit again. Getting real tired of running up and down that damn hill. moving the Black Cat and shops closer to the Pawn's guild in post-game. Still takes a lot of button presses to get to the load game option What Dark Arisen did not fix, but should have: I had to grind out another 30+ levels in the Everfall, dragonforging errrrything for me and my main pawn, to survive to and through the final boss (Daimon). The first time you meet an Elder Ogre and your attacks barely hurt him, you'll know this is a big jump in difficulty.

There are many comparisons to Dark Souls out there, which is accurate when it comes to the atmosphere (dark, bleak, menacing), but the game is still very Dragon's Dogma. +Necrophagus monsters keep the tension high (once you kill enemies, you may attract any of 4 very nasty baddies) +New permanent portcrystal outside Cassardis.

Combined with the above, getting around is much easier. It can make ho-hum gear like Denim Hosen into something really helpful, and can make choice gear into boss crushers. These are purchased in rift crystals and not in coin. +Dragonforged equipment can be improved further by using Barroch to Rarify. +Ferrystones much cheaper, and once you beat the main game you get the eternal ferrystone, which is what it sounds like. +New intro screen song, much less irritating. By sieg6529 | Review Date: JWithout reviewing Dragon's Dogma itself, I'll only go over what is new in Dark Arisen.
